چکیده

Aim of this study is to evaluate the effect adding different levels Zinc and Selenium on extender as antioxidants improve Friesian-bull semen quality after cryopreservation. Semen was collected, pooled, extended with five treatment extenders, including control without (E1), 0.3 mg/100ml Zn (E2), 0.6 (E3), 0.2 Se (E4), 0.5 (E5). evaluated for visual parameters dilution, equilibration, thawing. Also, by CASA only Results showed that there are no effects all additives sperm characteristics dilution Only progressive motility percentage increased (P<0.05) post-equilibration E5. Percentages acrosome integrity were enhanced E4 analysis revealed non-motility, total head abnormalities percentages decreased (P<0.05), while vitality, rapid Dynamic straightness wobble) In conclusion, selenium at a level cryopreserved ha beneficial maintaining improved freezability. This may be used tool improving in artificial insemination centers.

P-143: Effects of In Vitro Copper Supplementation on The Ejaculated Semen Parameters in Water Buffaloes (Bubalus Bubalis)

Background: A number of studies have demonstrated membrane lipid peroxidation (LPO) as one of the causes of defective sperm function in liquid semen preserved at 4◦C and cryopreserved semen. Some attempt has been made to preserve sperm parameters, particularly sperm motility, by adding some elements and Materials to the semen before freezing. Materials and Methods: To investigate effects of cop...
